What is your airplane ritual? IPod? Sleep? Sweat Pants? Alcohol? Spill the beans.
I usually bring something to read and my Ipod, but I always hope they play a decent movie cause I find the flight always goes by quicker if I can watch that. Unfortunately, that rarely happens!

What do you think about unidentified flying objects and people who see them?
I think anything is possible, but until I see them with my own eyes, those folks who’ve seen them have a lot of explaining to do!

What is your favorite American city?
New York. I love the direct way most people communicate there and how incredible the nightlife is. I also love taking the subway and catching all the street performers down there- some of those folks are more talented then a lot of people I know with record deals!

What do you think about the war in Iraq?
It’s absolutely tragic, but I’m hopeful Barack Obama and the new administration will be able to turn things around.

What do you think about interracial relationships?
I think there wonderful. I’m a little bias since I’m a product of one, but it really is the most beautiful example of how race relations have improved. Interracial relationships are Martin Luther King’s dream realized.

Who was your celebrity crush growing up?
I realize this answer is practically a cliché, because so many guys are into her. But Halle Berry is just that incredible.

Who is your celebrity crush now?
Marissa Miller. I usually date artistically inclined girls and she’s a model but she seems real cool so I’d give her a pass.

What song and artist would people be surprised to know you dig?
I don’t think I can surprise people like that anymore. I’ve been openly eclectic for a while now. I’m completely unashamed of whatever I like, whether it be Danity Kane’s ‘Sucker for Love’, Feist’s ‘I Feel It All,’ Little Wayne and Babyface’s ‘Comfortable’ or Eddie Vedder ‘Society!’

What’s your favorite late-night snack?
Vanilla yogurt with sliced bananas in it.

Who is the biggest influence in your personal life?
My older brother Nate.

What is your favorite scene in a film?
The scene in “Coming to America” when Sexual Chocolate performs!

What is on your Tivo right now?
”The Daily Show with Jon Stewart,” and my show “Dance on Sunset.” Pardon the shameless plug, but I really do love the show and not just cause I’m on it!

Name one book that you consider a must read.
”Conversations with God “(book 1) by Neale Donald Walsch. If you keep an open mind, it’ll give you the greatest spiritual clarity.

What frightens you?
The prospect of doing stand up comedy, which is why I’ll probably do it at some point!

Shout out the website for a cause/issue that’s close to your heart.
U.S. Doctors for Africa is doing some great work by providing mobile hospitals to rural areas in Africa where people don’t have hospitals anywhere near. Even when they get to the nearest hospital, it often doesn’t have enough resources to properly care for them. This a very practical and immediate solution to that.
