What is your airplane ritual? IPod? Sleep? Sweat Pants? Alcohol? Spill the beans.
Comfy sweatpants, laptop, DVD and “Vanity Fair.” It’s probably one of the few opportunities I have to just relax. And of course, I need to have a window seat.
What is your favorite American city?
New York all the way! (Cue music) If I can make it there, I’ll make it anywhere…
Who was your celebrity crush growing up?
Scott Baio…I still have one of those standard replies from his fan club that I got in the mail after sending him a letter: “Scott says thanks for writing.” Did I really just admit that?
What song and artist would people be surprised to know you dig?
Anything by Coldplay. “Warning Sign” is magnificent!
What’s your favorite late-night snack?
“Lucky Charms.” Nothing like a sugar coma to knock you out at night…
Who is the biggest influence in your personal life?
My mentor, Marian Michaels. She was the wisest person I have ever known and completely spiritually oriented… Marian passed away suddenly from liver cancer in 2006, but her knowledge and wisdom has transformed the way I view life forever…
What is your favorite scene in a film?
“The Matrix,” when Neo chooses the red pill.
Obama or McCain?
O-B-A-M-A. Yes we can and yes we will!
Name one book that you consider a must read.
“Man’s Search for Meaning” by psychiatrist Viktor Frankl. This glorious little (less than 150 pages) book describes the spiritual lessons he learned from his life in concentration camps during World War II. His philosophy was that although we can’t avoid pain and suffering, we can choose how we respond to the trials in our life. The ability to CHOOSE the way we deal with our challenges is the cornerstone of self-empowerment.
