What is your favorite tune to sing in the shower?
”Sweet Thing,” by Rufus and Chaka Khan, as sung by Mary J. Blige.

What do you think about unidentified flying objects and people who see them?
I just hope I’m never one of those people.

What is your favorite American city?
New York, hands-down. Although after living there, I realized that residing there wasn’t for me. But NYC has an energy that can’t be duplicated anywhere else on the world. NYC has a certain attitude and swagger that’s pretty irresistible.

Tell us about your tattoos.
I don’t have any tattoos. Up to this point, I’ve been unable to think of one thing that I want on my body forever. That’s a tremendous commitment. Does that mean I’m a commitment-phobe?

Who was your celebrity crush growing up?
There are really too many to name. I loved Big Daddy Kane and his lazy eyes. Of course, I was in love with nearly all the members of “New Edition,” “The Boys,” and “Jodeci” (except K-CI & JoJo) at one point in time.

Who is your celebrity crush now?
Idris Elba is all man. And might I add, they didn’t build young men like Dwyane Wade when I was growing up.

What’s your favorite late-night snack?
Baileys Irish Cream. Is that considered a snack?

Who is the biggest influence in your personal life?
My mother. If I possess half her strength, I’ll be fine surviving this crazy world we live in. But also, my mother is my biggest cheerleader. It’s because of her sacrifices that I’m able to follow my dreams.

What is on your Tivo right now?
I don’t have Tivo. Call me thrifty. Plus, I don’t watch tons of television. But, if I did own Tivo, I’d probably have it record “The Office,” “Grey’s Anatomy”, “Scrubs,” and old episodes of “Martin.”

Name one book that you consider a must read.
”The Alchemist,” by Paulo Coelho.

What is your favorite article of clothing?
This is a three-way tie between pocketbooks, shoes, and jackets. I love them all. A bad pocketbook, pair of shoes, or jacket can make an outfit.
