About Me:Recently, I took a brief trip down to Atlanta in part to get away and also to see Julie Dexter and Heston in concert. Ya’ll know that I travel up and down the East Coast in a New York minute for a show. Besides, airfares have been fairly reasonable lately and I’m blessed to have people down there I could crash with.
I vividly remember the first time I saw DC-based songstress Debórah Bond perform live. It was back around 2004 and I was just starting to sporadically attend live shows. I was at a spot called Takoma Station and she performed several songs from her debut album, “Day After.”
Recently, I was invited to attend an industry event where Chrisette Michele was performing in support of her sophomore effort, “Epiphany.”
One of the albums that I have had in constant rotation since it was released in October 2008 is Foreign Exchange’s second release, “Leave It All Behind.”
Recently, I was blessed to check out uber musician and producer Mark de Clive-Lowe accompanied by the smooth vocals of Vanessa Freeman (of Reel People) as they neared the finish line of their world tour.
