R.I.P STEVE MCNAIR
The death of former NFL quarterback Steve McNair and his mistress Sahel Kazemi “clearly points to a murder-suicide,” according to the police.

“Steve McNair was murdered by Sahel Kazemi,” chief Ronal Serpas told reporters, adding McNair was likely asleep when he died while seated on the sofa.

After four shots into McNair, Kazemi, 20, positioned herself on the sofa next to him and shot herself in the side of the head, according to Serpas. He said there was no gunshot residue evidence on McNair’s hands and there were no signs of a struggle.

“We believe it was likely Kazemi shot Mr. McNair and he didn’t know,” Serpas said.

I know lots of you thought it was the soon-to-be ex-wife, some of you thought it may have been a set-up/robbery…but at the end of the day, infidelity does more damage than people imagine…think twice people!

BRANDY HAS BEEN DROPPED
Brandy has reportedly been dropped by her label Epic Records. And their reason was that her album sales for her comeback album “Human” were below impressive & financially satisfying. The album was released in December and has only sold 196,509 units to date according to SoundScan.

It’s also being reported that Brandy has split from her management team at Roc Nation. They split due to “creative differences.”

I am sure Brandy will not have a problem finding a new home or as savvy & gangsta as she and her mother Sonya Norwood are when it comes to business, Brandy will be back on TV & on heavy rotation in no time!

KANYE WEST TAKES ON A NEW SPORT
Kanye West approached recent Wimbledon champ Serena Williams to be his tennis coach at the after-party for the London Wireless festival, He claims, “Tennis is my new thing, “I love it.”

TARAJI & PEPSI HOOK UP
Taraji P. Henson represents “love” in Pepsi’s new “We Inspire” ad campaign. She had a photo shoot for the beverage at NEO Studios in SoHo, where she said the best thing about love is that it’s recession-friendly. “You don’t have to pay for it, and it’s unconditional. It’s hard when you get cut off the road in traffic, but it’s what I try to practice,” said Henson, whose middle name – Penda – happens to mean “love” in Swahili. Her next role is in the upcoming “Karate Kid” remake as the mother of Jaden Smith’s character.

MICHAEL CLARKE DUNCAN IN VAN PEEBLES FILM
My friend Michael Clarke Duncan who just finished filming a movie in Thailand, will star opposite Morgan Simpson in the Mario Van Peebles-directed indie drama “Bailey.”

Simpson wrote the script and will play the title character in the film, which centers on spiritual redemption against the backdrop of Memphis blues.

Production will begin in August in Nashville, reports Variety. Heavy Duty Entertainment’s Jeff Balis and Rhoades Rader are producing along with Charlie Poe. Simpson scripted and will play the title character.

DIVORCE GOING DOWN
“In Living Color’s” funniest actor/comedian, David Alan Grier and his wife of 2 years Christine Kim are headed to divorce court. Christine filed the papers and cited the usual Irreconcilable Differences. They also have a 1 and a half old daughter named together named Luisa Danbi.
