BOBBY BROWN BECOMES A DAD AGAIN
My man Bobby never ceases to amaze me. Bobby Brown and his girlfriend of two-and-a-half years, manager Alicia Etheridge, are expecting their first child together.
Now already the girlfriend/manager role has the potential of this relationship going down in flames. I’m not hating believe me, B is my boy & Alicia has been around for eons; from way back in the day. But y’all know like I know, some things are too close for comfort. Let’s hope that this doesn’t turn into a storm that truly has to be weathered; especially with the previous child support history & legal drama.
Bobby is breaking it down like this: “I’m really excited about my new addition to my family,” and he plans to celebrate his 40th birthday, as well as his recent sobriety, with family and friends.
Can you believe it’s been since 2006 since his split with Whitney Houston and dang Bobby Kristina is 15-years old already, where did the time go? Bobby also has two children with ex-girlfriend Kim Ward and a son with ex-girlfriend Melika Williams. This will be Alicia’s first child.
I’m sending you blessings B, keep that ass outta trouble!
ERYKAH BADU HAS BABY #3
My girl Erykah Badu is one fertile mama as she gave birth to a baby girl this weekend. Hold on, wait for the child’s name…..
Erykah has one son, named Seven Sirius Benjamin, from a previous relationship with Andre Benjamin of Outkast. Her other child is daughter Puma, whom she has with ex-boyfriend, rapper The D.O.C., and this bundle of joy by rapper Jay Electronica. They named their newborn baby daughter Mars Merkaba.
The couple blogged about the birth on the Twitter Web site. Badu said she had a home birth that lasted about five hours and that she didn’t use painkillers.
Erykah, whose government name is Erica Wright, released her fourth studio album, “New Amerykah, Part One (4th World War),” last year. “Part Two” will be released this month.
ANDRE HARRELL RECOVERING FROM HEART SURGERY
I heard this news about my friend a few months back, but definitely wanted to respect his privacy.
My girl Mary J. Blige, Chris Rock, Jay-Z, and Warner Music chairman Lyor Cohen were among the guests gathered at a welcome home party for music mogul Andre Harrell, who had been hospitalized after undergoing heart surgery.
Now even though Dre is 48-years old, he parties like a rock star for real. He had an emergency quadruple heart bypass procedure to prevent him from succumbing to coronary artery heart disease.
Sean “Diddy” Combs, Harrell’s former intern at his Uptown Records label, reportedly stayed at the hospital throughout Harrell’s operation until he was successfully moved to the recovery room.
The welcome home party was held at Harrell’s New York home. I tell you a gazillion times, who cares how much money you have and how many cars you have sitting in the driveway, and diamonds on your wrist. IF YOU’RE HEALTH AIN’T 100% NOTHING ELSE MATTERS!
