ADVICE/BEAUTY/MAKE-UP

BE BOLD THIS WINTER!

With Halloween gone, soon you know you will be writing your Christmas list and before you know it, you will be writing your New Years resolutions! But before all of that happens, we need update our makeup for the new season. Here’s just a rundown of the newest make up trends for the fall/winter seasons.

BOLD IT UP
This year, it is safe to say that bold eye makeup is back! This season it’s all about the smokey eye with a twist of color. Don’t be afraid of color! Think rich and bold tones like golds, burgundies, deep greens and purples. If you are doing a smokey black eye, I like to always mix it with a little color; it adds depth to your look and is great for a nice night out on the town.

LIP IT UP
Personally with a dark smokey eye, I like to keep my pout simple. Try a nice nude or a sheer pink. Add a touch of gloss with gold sparkle and you have a perfect pout to complete your look. If you are doing a simpler elegant eye, your lips should be all about paint-like splashes of color. Think lipstick in deep reds, burgundies and rich pinks.

These are just a couple trends to update your look this season. Remember to keep moisturized! Your skin gets very dry during the cold season, and don’t forget your lips. Keep chap-stick at all times. Honey, no one likes chapped, dry lips!

Don’t be shy, be inspired. There are no rules when it comes to color…
